Unemployable by Alysia Silberg Recounts a Tale of Remarkable Entrepreneurial Journey

Every nonfiction book has an audience to cater to. This book is written in a beautiful sublime style. It is helpful for people who have bright ideas but lacking will and walk to make it big. Another USP is that the target audience is entrepreneurs that look forward to making it big with AI technology like generative AI or algorithms or data analysis.

“A magnificent woman, a magnificent journey, a story magnificently shared – illuminating, invigorating, inspirational.” – Amy Trask, FormerRaiders CEO and Sports Analyst

But ultimately the book revives dreams of dormitory people, sleeping with big dreams in their mind. The author has spurned the book around her life, of course, it is about her challenges, victories, roadmaps, pains, opportunities – how did she make big of herself.

“Turn your weakness and poverty into your strength and richness” – this is one lesson I got from the book.

The book prominently has two arteries, author’s personal story of struggle everywhere, from family to discriminating South African soil. Another artery is business lessons that she implements and learns all the way till becoming a VC in the Silicon Valley.

Alysia Silberg learnt the art of money making at 6. She sold old suits of her father in Pretoria on the streets. It got picked up, she got into clothing business, enough to make their meets for some time. It was not her destiny. She knew it. She moved on to real estate, digital services, and in a tech startup that handed her American Dream in the Silicon Valley. She got up from rags to riches, from streets to Silicon Valley to global tech arena.

“My fears and insecurities would haunt me years. I can say now that being an entrepreneur was in my destiny and my DNA, but in reality it was my only option.”

The memoir holds power, an ability to guide millions like me that are groping in the darkness of dreams, away from reality. Forward and praises from many leading figures, places the book in esteemed light. In nutshell, lovely! Great! Mesmerizing! Impressive! Superb and engrossing!
