Utilizing the medium of many book fairs amid a pandemic-riddled year, the Brussels Book Fair and the European Commission will be hosting the second edition of the European Book Forum digitally on Wednesday, the 24th of February 2021.
This project is being developed in close collaboration with partners and operators in the literary world in order to offer concrete perspectives on the evolution of the publishing world. And the discussions of the day’s conference – which aim to take stock of current events and the challenges facing European publishing and bookstore managers – will be made available in French, Dutch, English and German (simultaneous interpretation).
While participation in the event is free, it is necessary to register beforehand, for the Assises will be broadcast live from the Berlaymont building of the European Commission and online via the Interactio application.
