The Book of Stamps by Vidya Math: A Light Fantasy Read that will Mesmerize Readers to a Great Extent

Magic and miracles are two inseparable elements of fantasy. But what if there appears a sudden inevitable influence on that character’s life that hangs like a breath of life between the characters of far-away mystical lands? What happens to the fantasy world that constantly faces the battle of conflicts between goodness and evil?

The Book of Stamps by Vidya Math has several beautiful, queer and unexpected twists accompany this remarkably modest book of fantasy and adventure. There is love, violence, compassion, romance and betrayal. There is friendship, determination, perseverance, faith and strength. There is death and reunion, power and resilience, victory and happiness. There is battle between good and evil, vice and virtue, purity and sin. There are mythical creatures, fruits, and animals, and enigmatic people. This book is a perfect literature resource for a light introduction to the fantasy world everything we heard of life there.

Imagination and mystical realism spread its wings to create the fairytale-like atmosphere within the short framework of the tale. Human emotions mingled with magic and miracles are explored throughout the story, smoothly creating an alliance between the real and fantasy world. However, you will also go through a more than few tinges of tragedy touching all the characters in equal measure.

The story is also about conquering the inner fears to take on a perilous quest. It is a story where the innocent Prince embarks upon a dangerous voyage at first with personal glorification, but then goes on to save the world from the cruel hunters. It is a story of survival and struggle, faith and justice, emotional turmoil and hidden truths. It is the story to show how far one is ready to go to achieve their goals. It is indeed a multi-layered story with several valuable lessons to learn while in the journey and a beautiful moral to imbibe in the end.

View on the Cover Page:

The cover page of the book is depicting dual story front, one of the children, another one of the young prince and that dancing girl whom he meets in her village while hunting down vile hunters.

Final Verdict:

Although it doesn’t end in a cliffhanger, yet there is a hint of a sequel in the end. The book, with its fast-paced narration, is definitely a great stand-alone read; still the ending hints at the beginning of another fantasy tale in the land of Zohor. The Book of Stamps is a perfect combination of magic, miracle, fantasy and adventure with a touch of fairytale elements. It will definitely win the heart of the readers with its refreshing tale of humanity and compassion springing from the book of stamps possessed by that little girl Othelia.
