Poetry Takes Centre Stage: Ethos Literary Festival Returns with Star-Studded Lineup” 

NEW DELHI – The fourth edition of the Ethos Literary Festival is scheduled to take place on 7th June 2025 at Tango, Ambassador Hotel in New Delhi, promising a day-long celebration of poetry.

Organised by Hawakal Publishers, this year’s festival will feature an impressive lineup of book launches, panel discussions, and literary presentations. 

The festival will kick off with “A Brief Introduction by Kiriti Sengupta” CEO, Co-founder of Hawakal Publishers, followed by the first curtain raiser session featuring the cover reveal of Gopal Lahiri’s “Selected Poems” at 9:55 AM, with guest speaker Onkar Sharma.

A highlight of the morning programme includes “Nostalgia: The Quintessential Elixir of Life,” celebrating Neha Bansal’s “Six of Cups” from 11:35 AM to 12:15 PM, with Prof. Seema Jain as the guest speaker. This will be followed by an interactive session titled “Pitch your Work: Crack a Deal” featuring Suhail Mathur, a leading literary agent in India, offering aspiring writers an opportunity to present their work.

The afternoon programme features multiple ceremonial launches, including Rajorshi Patranabis’s “Gossips of Our Surrogate Story” with Prof. Radha Chakravarty as guest, and “Contours of Him: Poems” introduced and edited by Prof. Malachi Edwin Vethamani, with Prof. Swati Pal and Sudeep Sen as guests. Another significant launch will be Amit Khanna’s “Ananta Raag,” translated by Prof. Manabendranath Saha, with Bitan Chakraborty serving as guest speaker. The final ceremonial launch will present Mitali Chakravarty’s “From Calcutta to Kolkata: A City of Dreams,” featuring Prof. Meenakshi Malhotra and Prof. Swati Pal as guests.

The festival will conclude with the presentation of the Ethos Literary Award 2025.

This year’s programme reflects the festival’s commitment to showcasing diverse voices in contemporary literature, with particular emphasis on poetry, translations, and cross-cultural literary dialogue. The event promises to be a significant gathering for India’s literary community.
